The Lake Johnson ecoEXPLORErs are inviting young nature enthusiasts to participate in an upcoming program focused on exploring the wonders of the natural world. The ecoEXPLORE program offers children in grades K-8 the opportunity to become citizen scientists and earn badges while learning about nature.

"Join us to learn more about the ecoEXPLORE program and how to participate," encourages the Lake Johnson ecoEXPLORErs. The upcoming session will delve into the fascinating field of Herpetology, the study of reptiles and amphibians. Participants will have the chance to engage in hands-on activities and observations related to these unique creatures.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 11, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and is open to children between the ages of 5 and 13. The cost to participate is $4, and interested individuals can register on RecLink. It is important to note that adults must accompany participants, and they can attend for free without the need for registration.

This initiative by the Lake Johnson ecoEXPLORErs provides a valuable opportunity for young minds to explore and appreciate the beauty of nature while gaining scientific knowledge and earning badges along the way. Join in for a fun and educational experience in the world of Herpetology with the ecoEXPLORE program at Lake Johnson.
